Chennai: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) on Thurday began supplementary counselling for engineering courses in Tamil Nadu, allowing students to select their preferred colleges until 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

The provisional allotment list for candidates participating in the supplementary round will be published on Saturday.

Students who accept the allotment must confirm their seats, after which the final allotment order will be issued on August 24, officials said.

The supplementary counselling follows the completion of the general counselling, which filled 1.45 lakh seats out of 1.88 lakh available across 423 engineering colleges affiliated with Anna University.
