the ongc foundation offers annual scholarships to support academically outstanding and economically disadvantaged students pursuing higher education.eligible courses: the ongc merit scholarships are available to students enrolled in master's degree programs in professional fields such as engineering, medicine, management, geology, geophysics, and related disciplines.scholarship details: selected students will receive rs. 48,000 per year. the scholarship benefits 2000 students, including sc, st, obc, and economically backward general category students. additionally, 50% of the scholarships are reserved for women.eligibility criteria:must have secured admission for the academic year 2024-25.candidates enrolling in undergraduate programs should have obtained at least 60% marks in their 12th standard. similarly, candidates pursuing master's degrees should have secured at least 60% in their undergraduate studies.must be a full-time student.annual family income: for sc/st categories, it should not exceed rs. 4.5 lakhs; for obc and economically backward classes, it should not exceed rs. 2 lakhs.age limit: must be under 30 years old as of august 1, 2024.application process: applications must be submitted online through https://ongcscholar.org/#/schemeandrules/apply. applicants are required to upload documents such as an enrollment certificate, photograph, caste certificate, annual income certificate, college id card, and mark sheets.application deadline: september 18for more information: visit https://ongcscholar.org
