ICAI announces results of CA Intermediate & Foundation exams held in September 2024

new delhi: the institute of chartered accountants of india (icai) has declared the results for the chartered accountants intermediate and foundation examinations conducted in september 2024. a total of 1,39,646 candidates appeared for the intermediate exams, held across 459 centers, and 78,209 candidates appeared for the foundation exams across 453 centers.for the ca intermediate exams, the pass rates were:group i: 15.17% of the 69,227 candidates passed.group ii: 15.99% of the 50,760 candidates passed.both groups: 5.66% of the 23,482 candidates passed.the top three all-india rank holders for the intermediate exam were:parami umesh parekh from mumbai, who scored 484 marks (80.67%).tanya gupta from chennai, with 459 marks (76.50%).vidhi jain from new delhi, with 441 marks (73.50%).details of ca foundation resultspas percentage in male : 20.47%pass percentage in female : 18.76%overall pass percentage : 19.67%addressing the newly qualified candidates, icai president ca. ranjeet kumar agarwal said, “your success in the intermediate and foundation exams reflects your hard work and perseverance. this milestone not only brings you closer to joining this noble profession but also embodies values of integrity and professionalism. the journey may present challenges, yet each step taken is a testament to your commitment to growth and success.”the detailed results, including individual scores, are available on www.icai.nic.in. to access candidates need to enter their registration and roll numbers.
