Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak to 463 Personnel

delhi: 463 personnel from various states, union territories (uts), central armed police forces (capfs), and central police organizations (cpos) were awarded 'kendriya grihmantri dakshata padak' for the year 2024.this prestigious award recognizes exceptional contributions in the fields of:special operationsinvestigationintelligenceforensic sciencelaunched under the leadership of prime minister shri narendra modi and guided by union home minister and minister of cooperation shri amit shah, the kendriya grihmantri dakshata padak aims to enhance the morale of police personnel and uphold high professional standards across these critical areas.the award was established by the ministry of home affairs through a notification dated february 1, 2024. it honors members of police forces, security organizations, and intelligence branches at the state and ut levels, as well as those in the capfs, national security guard (nsg), and assam rifles. the medal is also awarded for outstanding achievements by government scientists in forensic science.the kendriya grihmantri dakshata padak is being presented annually on october 31, coinciding with the birth anniversary of sardar vallabhbhai patel.for a complete list of awardees, please visit https://www.mha.gov.in
