Tamil Nadu Startup Thiruvizha 2024 -Madurai Edition concludes

madurai: the two-day tamil nadu startup thiruvizha 2024, organized by startuptn at the tamukkam convention centre in madurai, concluded with a valedictory ceremony attended by archana patnaik, secretary, msme, tamil nadu. during the event, sanction orders were awarded to beneficiaries under tanseed and the tamil nadu sc/st startup fund.under the tanseed scheme, 37 startups received equity seed funding amounting to rs. 4.84 crore. additionally, rs. 11.55 crore was sanctioned to eight startups led by sc/st entrepreneurs through the tamil nadu sc/st startup fund, promoting equitable growth across the state.the event also saw the launch of the thadam gift box website, promoting tamil nadu's indigenous arts and crafts. over 80 speakers, including startup leaders and government officials, addressed participants, with more than 150 stalls showcasing innovations. the startup expo also featured a web 3 metaverse pavilion and 100 d2c food products.the event concluded with pitch sessions, hackathons, and numerous panel discussions, making it a resounding success for both local and national startup communities.
