TNPSC Gr II candidates feel question paper challenging

chennai: the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) group-2 examination saw 5.81 lakh candidates appear across tamil nadu, with many expressing concerns over the difficulty of the questions, including a controversial question related to the governor's role in federal governance.a total of 5.81 lakh candidates appeared for the tnpsc group-2 examination aiming to fill 2,327 government posts across tamil nadu. out of 7,93,966 applicants, 73.22% appeared for the exam, conducted in 2,763 centers statewide.tnpsc chairman sk prabhakar visited the egmore presidency high school in chennai to oversee the examination process. he confirmed that successful candidates will be eligible for the main examination, with job postings for deputy commercial tax officer, sub-registrar, junior placement officer, forest officer, and revenue department assistant among others.so far, 10,315 candidates have secured jobs this year, with 10,872 more to follow. prabhakar announced that the answer key for the group-2 exam will be released within six working days, with candidates able to submit their objections online. the final results, based solely on exam scores, are expected within two to three months.however, several candidates found the questions challenging, particularly a controversial question regarding the governor's role in india's federal system. the question has sparked debate in political circles, as it echoes criticism from dmk and allied parties, accusing the governor of acting against federal principles.
