14, 866 likely to take up TNPSC Agriculture Officer exam on May 20 & 21

a total of 14,866 candidates applied to fill 93 existing vacancies. among these 5938 male candidates and 8924 female candidates had applied. the exam is scheduled to be held in 86 venues. one venue has been allotted for chennai.  the exam is to be held both in the forenoon and afternoon session.  earlier, tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) had invited applications for direct recruitment to the posts of agricultural officer (extension), assistant director of agriculture (extension) included in the tamil nadu agricultural extension service and horticultural officer included in the tamil nadu horticultural service through a notification dt:  12, jan 2023.
