6340 elementary schools in dilapidated state
in a written reply to a question in lok sabha, hrd minister smriti irani said that as per udise 2015-15, 833 secondary school buildings in 21 states are in a dilapidated condition. "out of these, 449 schools have zero enrolment and remaining 384 schools are being utilised for teaching learning purposes," irani said.
