78 get selected in IFS exam from Shankar IAS Academy;10 from TN
chennai: the union public service commission (upsc) on monday announced the results of the indian forest service (ifs) examination 2024, with 143 candidates clearing the highly competitive exam across the country.a significant 78 of those selected are students of shankar ias academy, which has centres in chennai, delhi, bengaluru and thiruvananthapuram. notably, six of the top ten rank holders are from the academy, reaffirming its consistent track record in civil services coaching.from tamil nadu, 10 candidates made it to the final list, including four women. the state topper is ms. nilabharathi m.v., who secured all india rank 24. she had been a participant in the academy's live classroom programme for general studies with prelims-cum-mains (gspcm), and had also taken part in its test series for general studies, optional subjects, and the interview phase.among the national toppers are:air 1: kanika anapair 2: khandelwal anand anilkumarair 3: anubhav singhair 6: sanskar vijayair 7: mayank purohitair 8: sanish kumar singhall these top rankers attended the interview guidance programme at shankar ias academy.with this year's results, the academy has produced ifs toppers from tamil nadu for the 12th consecutive year. over the past 12 years, it has contributed 557 officers to the indian forest service - the highest from any single institution in the country.the upsc conducted interviews for the ifs exam between april 21 and may 2, 2025.
