chennai: chennai district collector rashmi siddharth jagade on monday announced that applications are being accepted until november 14 for admission to 1,149 vacant seats in one-year medical courses at government medical colleges in the city.ina press release, she said the vacancies include 254 seats at the chennai medical college, 393 at stanley medical college, 319 at kilpauk government medical college, and 48 at omandurar government medical college.eligible candidates can apply by approaching the vice-principals of the respective colleges before the deadline. the admission drive aims to fill all remaining seats in the ongoing academic session, ensuring optimal utilisation of available training capacity in government institutions.the collector urged interested candidates to submit their applications promptly to avoid last-minute rush.
