Honorary lecturers to be appointed for MBA, MCA Courses in Govt. Colleges

chennai: the directorate of college education has initiated the process of appointing 881 honorary lecturers in the second phase across tamil nadu to strengthen teaching in government colleges.currently, mba courses are offered in five government arts and science colleges — salem government arts college, tiruppur chikanna government arts college, sathankulam, thondamuthur, and chennai r.k. nagar — from the academic year 2023-24.similarly, mca courses have been introduced in government colleges at tirupattur, tiruchirappalli, ooty, chennai, and valparai.amid reports that permanent faculty had not yet been appointed for these newly launched courses, the directorate has begun inviting applications for the honorary lecturer posts.according to official sources, the higher education department plans to deploy the selected lecturers specifically to teach mba and mca programmes in these ten government arts and science colleges.
