IIM Calcutta opens admissions to 16th batch of executive programme in marketing and sales

kolkata: the indian institute of management (iim) calcutta has opened admissions to the 16th batch of its one-year advanced programme for marketing and sales professionals, aimed at preparing mid- and senior-level executives for leadership and c-suite roles.the executive education programme, offered in collaboration with edtech platform timespro, is designed to strengthen strategic, analytical and leadership capabilities in marketing and sales amid growing use of data, digital platforms and artificial intelligence in commercial functions.according to the institute, the curriculum integrates marketing, sales, analytics and leadership to help professionals align sales and marketing strategies, adopt customer-centric approaches and respond effectively to changing market conditions. the programme includes nine modules covering leadership, strategic marketing, sales management, digital marketing, marketing analytics and building customer-focused organisations, along with a capstone project.classes will be conducted through live online sessions by iim calcutta faculty, supplemented by two on-campus immersion modules. participants must have a minimum of eight years of professional experience and at least 50 per cent marks in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognised university.on successful completion, participants will receive a certificate from iim calcutta and gain executive education alumni status.previous batches have drawn participants from sectors such as manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, aviation and biotechnology, the institute said.
