IIM Tiruchirappalli inks MoUs with Renault Nissan and Hyundai to boost industry-academia ties
tiruchirappalli: the indian institute of management tiruchirappalli (iim trichy) has bolstered its industry-academia interface by signing strategic memoranda of understanding (mous) with renault nissan automotive india pvt. ltd. (rnaipl) and hyundai motor india ltd. (hmil) during july 2025.on july 21, iim tiruchirappalli entered into an mou with rnaipl to deliver customised certification programmes aimed at strengthening the leadership and management capabilities of rnaipl's senior executives. the mou was signed by dr. saravanan p, dean - corporate relations & faculty affairs, iim trichy, and mr. keerthi prakash vm, managing director, rnaipl, at a ceremony held on the institute's campus.the event was attended by iim director dr. pawan kumar singh and senior officials from both organisations. the partnership seeks to bridge managerial skill gaps through training modules focused on strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and adaptive leadership.earlier, on july 3, hmil launched its flagship arise (aspiring, recognising individuals for success and excellence) core talent program in collaboration with iim tiruchirappalli and mdi gurgaon. the initiative is aimed at preparing high-potential managers for leadership roles through immersive and experiential learning.“the arise programme reflects our commitment to strategic talent development,” said natwar kadel, vertical head - hr, hmil.both collaborations reaffirm iim trichy's role in executive education and its commitment to nurturing industry-ready leadership across sectors.
