IIT Madras Global, GATES to host GATES India ICT Channel Summit 2025

chennai: iit madras global has partnered with gates to organize the 'gates india ict channel summit 2025' from november 5 to 7, 2025, at the iit madras research park, bringing together over 250 leaders from the information and communication technology (ict) sector, including technology innovators, policymakers, and startups.the summit, supported by iitm research park and iitm incubation cell, will feature strategic dialogues, curated business matchmaking sessions, workshops, and product showcases aimed at positioning india as a global technology innovator.the flagship session, “india inc at full throttle: from innovation to global impact,” scheduled for november 6, will feature iit madras, redington group, and zoho corporation — representing academia, industry, and homegrown enterprise — in a dialogue on india's evolution from a technology adopter to an innovation architect.thirumalai madhavnarayan, ceo of iit madras global, said the summit connects research and enterprise to create global impact, extending iit madras' mission beyond academia. ashish kapahi, executive director of gates, noted that the event marks a key milestone in india's innovation journey, bridging technology creators with the ict channel community.the three-day event will also include 1-to-1 meetings, ai-focused panel discussions, skill-building workshops, and sessions highlighting women leadership and made-in-india innovations. participants from over 30 cities, including leading oems in cloud, security, and ai, are expected.the summit reinforces iit madras' role as a national hub for research, entrepreneurship, and deep-tech transformation.
