Kashi Tamil Sangam to be held from Dec 2-15 with focus on learning Tamil

chennai: the fourth edition of the kashi tamil sangam, an annual cultural initiative aimed at promoting the spirit of ek bharat, shreshtha bharat, will be held in varanasi from december 2 to 15, 2025. this year's theme has been designated as “learning tamil,” varanasi commissioner rajalingam said on tuesday.inan interview to all india radio, chennai, rajalingam said around 1,500 participants from tamil nadu will take part in the event. they will be grouped into seven categories representing various walks of life. the programme, jointly organised by the union ministry of education and iit madras, seeks to deepen cultural, linguistic, and educational exchanges between tamil nadu and varanasi, he noted.the commissioner added that comprehensive arrangements—including special trains, accommodation facilities, and food provisions—have been put in place to support the visiting delegates. he urged interested participants to complete the required registrations at the earliest.the full interview with rajalingam will be broadcast on the main channel of all india radio, chennai, on november 19 at 9.15 pm as part of the news segment.
