OPPO rolls out K13 Turbo series powered by AI Chips and Cooling Tech
new delhi: smartphone major oppo on monday unveiled its new k13 turbo series in india, positioning it as a “gaming-first” powerhouse in the mid-premium performance segment. the line-up includes two models — k13 turbo pro and k13 turbo — both equipped with advanced ai-ready chipsets, active-passive cooling systems, and immersive audio-visual features to cater to gamers, multitaskers and power users.the k13 turbo pro is powered by qualcomm's latest 4nm snapdragon 8s gen 4 platform with a 31 per cent cpu and 49 per cent gpu performance jump over its predecessor. it brings next-gen ai capabilities through an integrated npu supporting gemini ai features like real-time text summarisation and scene recognition. with support for wi-fi 7, bluetooth 6 and peak 5g speeds of 4.2 gbps, the device adapts to gaming behaviour with intelligent battery optimisations and low-latency voice commands for lag-free usage.the k13 turbo, equipped with mediatek's 4nm dimensity 8450 chipset and arm g720 mc7 gpu, promises 41 per cent better multi-core performance and 40 per cent lower power-draw than its previous generation, enabling sustained graphics stability for gaming and all-round productivity. it also packs a smarter ai engine via mediatek's upgraded npu 880.both smartphones deploy an industry-first active-plus-passive cooling architecture featuring a built-in fan, large vapour chamber and seven-layer graphite system to reduce peak temperatures by 2-4°c over competitors. internal tests show the k13 turbo pro delivered top sustained frame rates, lowest thermal rise and highest 120 fps counts in marathon gaming sessions.oppo has also added pro-level touch controls via synopsys 3910p ic, a game assistant suite with one-tap replay, footstep enhancer and silent launch, and oreality dual stereo speakers for directional sound. the company claims the k13 turbo series delivers console-grade gameplay, redefining expectations for gaming smartphones in 2025.
