TN Plus 1 board results released; 90.93 % clear

as usual, the girls with a pass percent of 94.36 were better off than the boys wth a pass percent of 86.99.  the girls were 7.37 percent better than the boyslast year ( may 2022) the total pass percent stood at 90.07.this year, the pass percent in government schools was 84.97; government aided schools were 93.20; and private self financed schools were 97.69. with 995, the highest number of centums was recorded in accountancy and just 2 in botany. totally, 7, 06,413 students cleared of the 7, 76,844 students applied.among the differently abled 88.98 percent cleared the plus 1 board and 86.40 percent cleared among the prisoners.  in the districts, tiruppur topped the table with a pass percent of 96.38 and karaikkal at the bottom with a pass percent of 81.18.
