TN set to train youths in entrepreneurship skills

chennai: the tamil nadu government, in collaboration with the entrepreneurship development institute of india (edii), based in ahmedabad, is set to launch an exciting initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills. this one-year diploma course will equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the dynamic business landscape.taking place at the edii headquarters in chennai, this program will accommodate 500 individuals annually. the course fee is set at rs. one lakh, ensuring accessibility for motivated individuals across various socio-economic backgrounds.the curriculum, admission criteria, and student selection process will be overseen by the institution, ensuring a rigorous and enriching learning experience. recognizing the importance of english proficiency in today's globalized world, special training will be provided to applicants lacking in this area. prospective participants, aged between 21 to 30 years, are encouraged to use this opportunity. additionally, each district will receive an allocation of seats. furthermore, avenues for 100% tuition assistance are available, particularly aimed at ews individuals.
