TNAU to provide training on manufacturing of paper products

kovai: tamil nadu agricultural university (tnau), kovai will conduct a two-day skill development training program on "manufacturing of paper-based products" from december 19 to december 20, 2024. the training will be held at the pilot paper plant under the department of food process engineering at tnau's agricultural engineering college & research institute.established in 1976, the pilot paper plant specializes in creating paper-based products using agricultural waste and waste paper. equipped with advanced machinery such as a rag chopper, hollander beater, cylinder mould machine, solar dryer, and printing machine, the facility ensures innovative production processes.the program will cover the manufacturing of office files, spring files, and nada files. the venue is conveniently located near the tnau botanical garden (gate no. 7).participants must pay a training fee of ₹5,000 plus 18% gst on the first day of the program. for more details, contact the professor and head of the department of food process engineering via email at tnau.ac.inor phone at 8668041185.
