HONGKONG HELP THE BLIND FOUNDATION CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2024  held at Junction Road Park - Hard Surface Soccer Pitch was a success with donations coming in for the educational purpose of blind students of India.Tournament's objectives have been achieved with enthusiastic participation of players and volunteers, despite heavy rain on that day.  Sponsors were magnanimous in supporting this event by taking care of the prizes like Winning Team Cup (Mr.Vashi Melwani & Family), 1st Runner up cup (Mr. DK Patel Family), Best Batsman Cup (Kishinchand Chellaram Foundation), Most Valuable Player cup, lunch for all players, gifts for winners (Star Plus Trading) and T-shirts (Mr. Hiro Dayaram & Mr.Satesh Dayaram) for all players.Socially United, Rolex Gang, V United Sports Club and TST-E were the teams having 3 matches each and the winner was Socially United with Rolex Gang coming next.Mr.Venkat - (Finance Director of G Doulatram & Sons), Mr.Ranga - (Finance Director of 'The Kishinchand Chellaram Foundation”), Mr.Sonu Vaswani (Director of Sunshine Far East Limited), Mrs.Manju Vaswani (Chairwoman Of Help the Blind Foundation), Mr.Vikash Shah - (Director of Help the Blind Foundation), and  Mr.Kanna (Director of Help the Blind Foundation),  were present to support the tournament.   Mrs. Niti Patel - Founder Member of 'Help the Blind Foundation', Mr.Jimmy M Master (Director Of Help the Blind Foundation),  Mr. Ramani and Mr. Sivaji Rao  ( the Trustees of “Help the Blind Foundation” - India) and Mr. Bala (Star Plus Trading), Mr.Visu Vemuri & Mrs.Lakshmi Vemuri, were unable to attend the tournament, but gave their valuable advice & kind support to organize this tournament smoothly. Overall event management was well handled by Mr. Padmanabhan who has been doing such tournament management for many years now. Tournament Co-Ordinator Mr.Venkat handled the tournament efficiently the entire day. “St. John Ambulance” Team offered First Aid services to participants when required.  Prizes were given to the Winning Team Members, 1st Runner Up Team Members, 2nd Runner Up Team Members, Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Best Fielder & Most Valuable Player.
