Kansas City Tamil Sangam Pongal Festival

The Kansas City Tamil Sangam Pongal Festival was held in a grand manner. More than 350 members participated in it. For the first time the Golam group competition was held. Out of a total of 90 events, 31 people won. More than 25 volunteers volunteered to make the event special. Children aged 5 to 15 recited 225 Thirukkural; 50% of them also explained its meaning. Each tournament had more than 10 participants. The dinner was organized by 40 volunteers.35 decoration volunteers helped to create the atmosphere in line with the traditional Pongal scene.
