About AIEED !

aieed or all india entrance examination for design is an entrance exam conducted by arch academy of design for admissions to undergraduate and post-graduate programs in design.aieed was launched in the year 2010 and since then arch conducts it every year as a process to select students for the various courses at the college. from 2011 aieed became online.  the complete process of the entrance screening for design studies is aimed at examining -attitude - perseverance, openness to learning, initiative, interest, curiositycomprehension & articulation skills - visual, verbal, conceptual, interpersonal, transactional - shown while doing creative tasks, addressing creative concepts, and expressing points of view, opinions (via speech, writing, drawing, video& other audio visual records of the process followed)aptitude - ability to plan, research, & to organise time, sensitivity to needs, unusual awareness of environment, awareness of design, associative ability, analytical ability, lateral thinking ability, idea generation ability.eligibility criteria:undergraduate (ug) level coursesstudents who have appeared for/ or cleared class 10+2 are eligible to participate in the aieed screening for design studies.postgraduate level coursesgraduates or students pursuing graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for this course.scholarships are also offered to students of single mom, ex-service men, frontline workers, educators and craftsmen.
