Indian Navy to host THINQ 2024 Quiz Semifinals and Finals at Indian Naval Academy

delhi: the indian navy is set to hold the semifinals and grand finale of its national quiz competition, thinq 2024, on november 7-8 at the indian naval academy (ina) in ezhimala.launched in july, thinq 2024 aligns with the theme of “viksit bharat,” aiming to cultivate knowledge and empower young minds. the competition has progressed through a rigorous selection process, with 16 schools now competing in the semifinals, representing academic excellence nationwide.the semifinalists, along with their teachers, were warmly welcomed to ina, where they'll also tour the navy's advanced training facilities. these young scholars have been preparing diligently for the contest, expressing excitement at the chance to compete at such a prestigious venue.the semifinals will take place on november 7, with vice admiral v. srinivas, flag officer commanding-in-chief of the southern naval command, as the chief guest. eight teams will advance to the final round on november 8, with admiral dinesh k. tripathi, chief of the naval staff, presiding over the grand finale.beyond competition, thinq 2024 offers students a unique opportunity to connect with peers from across india and explore the indian navy's maritime heritage. the navy extends its best wishes to all participants as they reach the thrilling conclusion of thinq 2024.
