TNPSC withdraws Asst Archaeologist posts

chennai: the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) has withdrawn the posts of assistant archaeologist (archaeology) and assistant archaeologist (government museum, pudukottai) from its combined technical services examination (non-interview posts) notification, issued on july 26, 2024.the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) has announced significant changes to its combined technical services examination (non-interview posts) through notification no. 09/2024. the updated notification, effective 26, july 2024, reflects the removal of the previously advertised vacancies for the positions of assistant archaeologist (archaeology) and assistant archaeologist (government museum, pudukottai).this revision follows a recent decision by the department of museums to withdraw these positions. as a result, these roles are no longer part of the current recruitment process, said the secretary, tnpsc.
