chennai: the tamil nadu school education department has rolled out the 'level up' scheme to enhance english language skills among students of classes 6 to 8 in government schools across the state.the initiative aims to bridge learning gaps in english proficiency by helping students read two- and three-letter words, comprehend their meanings, and use them in sentences. a structured, month-wise curriculum has been developed for implementation in classrooms.the digital version of the curriculum is available on the official website: https://sites.google.com/view/tnlevelup.director of school education, kannappan, has instructed all chief educational officers to set learning targets, track student progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of the scheme through regular monitoring.
