IIIT Hyderabads TechForward Research Seminar Series Marks Milestone with 12th Edition
hyderabad: the international institute of information technology, hyderabad (iiith) has successfully concluded the 12th edition of its techforward research seminar series, marking one year of robust academia-industry engagement on emerging technologies.launched as a monthly platform, the techforward series has brought together renowned thought leaders from industry and academia to deliver insightful talks on themes ranging from artificial intelligence, robotics, and quantum computing to sustainable mobility and agentic ai. each edition focused on a single domain and was followed by feature-based dispatches summarizing key technology directions.the year-long initiative saw collaborations with industry giants including google, qualcomm, meta, bosch, goldman sachs, lloyds technology centre, isb, zf india, accenture evernorth health services, and servicenow, among others.the 12th and most recent edition, held at the iiith campus, was themed “technology and cinema” and featured sessions by shobu yarlagadda, co-founder of mihira visual labs, and prof. p j narayanan, director, iiith. the event was co-organised by the hyderabad software enterprises association (hysea).speaking on the occasion, prof. narayanan said, “we are very pleased with the response to the techforward series that has enabled strong connections between industry and academia. with hysea's partnership, we hope to expand the series and establish it as a flagship initiative in hyderabad's it ecosystem.”further details on the techforward research seminar series are available at: https://outreach.iiit.ac.in/techforward/
