IIM Trichy concludes successful Summer and Final Placements for 2024-25
trichy: the indian institute of management tiruchirappalli (iim trichy) has concluded a successful placement season for 2024-25, with significant achievements in both summer internships and final placements. reflecting a dynamic recruitment landscape, the institute attracted over 150 companies across sectors, underscoring the growing confidence of industry in iim trichy's talent pool.insummer placements, recruiters offered 290 internship roles to post graduate programme in management (pgpm) students and 30 to those in pgpm-human resources (hr). a remarkable 53% rise in the highest stipend in the mphl (manufacturing, pharma, hospitality, and logistics) sector was recorded. top recruiters included accenture, capgemini, ibm, l&t, maruti suzuki, godrej, mckinsey & company, and jp morgan chase. the highest stipend reached ₹3.5 lakh for pgpm and ₹2 lakh for pgpm-hr.the final placements saw a 150% increase in participation from mphl companies and a 23% surge in pre-placement offers (ppos). companies such as bp, cognizant, shell, samsung, aditya birla capital, and mckinsey recruited across diverse domains. the highest cost to company (ctc) stood at ₹43.94 lakh for pgpm and ₹33.12 lakh for pgpm-hr, with average ctcs of ₹19.27 lakh and ₹17.84 lakh respectively.students under the diversity and accessibility programme (dap) secured roles in reputed firms through iim trichy's collaboration with atypical advantage. new-age sectors such as digital wellness, sustainable tech, and personalized healthcare also showed strong engagement. public sector entities like gail, cpcl, voc port, and ireda reaffirmed the institute's role in nation-building.iim trichy also hosted daksha 3.0, a leadership conclave featuring 11 industry leaders. director dr. pawan kumar singh praised the students' resilience and performance, reaffirming the institute's commitment to grooming future global leaders.
