chennai: union minister of state for information and broadcasting and parliamentary affairs, dr. l. murugan, on saturday said india's youth would be the driving force behind the nation's transformation into a developed country.participating in the 16th rozgar mela at dr. ambedkar arangam in the integral coach factory (icf), chennai, the minister distributed appointment letters to 251 newly recruited candidates selected for various central government departments and organisations, including southern railway, india post, public sector banks, the icf, and financial services.the rozgar mela was held simultaneously at 47 locations across india, during which prime minister narendra modi virtually handed out over 51,000 appointment letters to young recruits.addressing the gathering, dr. murugan emphasized that the youth of today will lead india into the future. “this is not just a job offer. it is an opportunity to serve the nation and contribute to the goal of making india a developed country by 2047,” he said.highlighting the government's development agenda, he said that through initiatives like gati shakti, infrastructure in roadways, railways, and air transport has seen rapid progress. he added that the mumbai-ahmedabad bullet train project is nearing completion, bringing india closer to high-speed rail travel.dr. murugan also mentioned the development of world-class railway infrastructure from the chenab bridge in kashmir to the pamban vertical lift bridge in tamil nadu.icf general manager u. subba rao and other senior officials were present at the event.
