Rahul Gandhi questions PM Modi on youth employment

new delhi: lok sabha opposition leader rahul gandhi has raised three questions to prime minister narendra modi regarding the government's commitment to youth employment.ina statement issued today, gandhi criticized the delay in implementing the employment-based incentive scheme, announced by modi after the 2024 lok sabha elections. he pointed out that despite the scheme's announcement, the central government has yet to frame the necessary rules, leading to the return of the rs 10,000 crore allocated for the scheme. gandhi called this a reflection of the government's lack of seriousness in addressing unemployment."employment cannot be created by focusing solely on large companies or prioritizing business interests over fair trade while neglecting india's indigenous skills," gandhi said. he emphasized that real job creation would require more investment in small and micro-enterprises, support for local production, fair market conditions, and skill development for youth.gandhi posed the following three questions to prime minister modi:"you announced a scheme of incentives with employment, but where has the rs 10,000 crore scheme disappeared? have you abandoned our unemployed youth along with your promises?""while you are making new slogans every day, our youth are still waiting for real opportunities. what is your concrete plan to create the millions of jobs india desperately needs? is this yet another empty promise?""when will you shift your focus from enriching adani and your billionaire friends to ensuring that youth from marginalized communities have equal access to employment?"in response, bjp spokesperson amit malviya emphasized the need for clarity on the issues raised by gandhi, stating that the government has always worked towards the welfare of the youth. he suggested that rather than focusing on political differences, it would be more productive to focus on the efforts being made to provide job opportunities for young people across the country.
