20வது மாடியில் இருந்து குதித்து மாணவி தற்கொலை

பெற்றோர்களே... சி. எ என்றால் கம் அகைன் என்கிற அர்த்தம்.. ஆயிரம் சறுக்கல்கள் இருந்தாலும் இலக்கு பட்டயபடிப்பினை என்பது அந்த படிப்பின் நோக்கமாக மாணவர்கள் எடுத்துக்கொள்வார்கள். அதே சிந்தனை தான் எந்த தேர்விலும் எடுக்கவேணும். இன்றைக்கு சறுக்கலை கண்டு அஞ்சாமல்... அடுத்த தேர்வை நன்கு படித்து எழுதுவது தான் புத்திசாலித்தனம். மற்றவர்கள் என்ன சொல்வார்கள் நம்மோட சமூகம் என்னசொல்லும் என்பது எல்லாம் வேண்டாத வேலை. இப்போ உசுரு போயிட்டுது. திரும்ப கிடைக்காது.. படிப்பு இன்னிக்கு வரலீன்னாலும் ,என்றாவது வெற்றிபெறுவது உறுதி. இந்த படிப்பினை பெற்றோருக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கிறேன்,

யாரை குறை சொல்வது? குழந்தைகளை படிக்கவிடாமல் சினிமாவிலும் ரீலிஸ் போடுவதிலும் அக்கறை காட்டவைத்த இந்த விளம்பரமோகமா அல்லது சினிமாகூத்தாடிகளின் கேவலமான கதைகளினாலே? மதிப்பெண்களை மட்டுமே பிரதானப்படுத்தும் கல்வியின் தரமா? அல்லது நமது சட்டமா? குழந்தைகளை கண்டிக்காமல் எப்படி வளர்க்க முடியும்... கண்டித்தால் விளைவு இப்படித்தான் நடக்கிறது

The incident is really very unfortunate. The level of competition in academics is on the increase with each passing year and the parents exert pressure on the wards to put in unremitting work to excel. In competitive examinations for admissions to professional courses, difference in the percentile of marks even to the third or the fourth decimal point makes a huge difference. This sort of rat race amongst the students adds to the mental pressure of the students, especially the adolescents. Parental guidance should not tend to be persuasive, enforcing their ideas on the wards and should be constructive to help the children decide which course of studies they are interested and hope to excel in. Children should be shielded from psychological depression and if necessary parents should not hesitate consulting a professional counsellor for guidance. Only by being proactiive, parents can prevent such unfortunate incidents..
