name of the fellowship: basic scientific research fellowship (rfsms) introduction: the research fellowship in sciences for meritorious students bsr scheme of the ugc is open to candidates who are selected for registering for the ph.d. programme of the university. objective: the bsr scheme aims to provide opportunities to meritorious candidates to undertake advanced studies and research leading to ph.d. degrees in sciences. eligibility criteria:  the candidates who are selected for registering to the ph.d.programme in basic sciences. fellowship amount: for non net/gate qualified rs. 21,700/- p.m. forfirst two yearrs. 24,800/- p.m. 3rd, 4th and 5th year for net/gate qualified rs. 24,800/- p.m. for first two yearsrs. 27,900/- p.m. 3rd, 4th and 5th year(hra+ contingency additional) more details: https://www.ugc.ac.in/pdfnews/9779504_bsr-fellowship.pdf
