new delhi: the prime minister's internship scheme, announced in this year's union budget, aims to generate employment opportunities for youth across prominent private companies in india.an allocation of rs 800 crore has been designated for this initiative, offering trainees a monthly stipend of rs 5,000 along with a one-time grant of rs 6,000.over 500 companies, including tcs, mahindra, reliance, maruti suzuki, hdfc bank, and others, are actively participating, providing hands-on training opportunities for young aspirants. interested candidates can apply via the official website at www.pminternship.mca.gov.in.initial registration for training began on october 3, concluding on the 20th, during which 280 companies offered training to 1.28 lakh youth. applications for students who have completed 10th grade, 12th grade, iti, diploma, or junior degrees commenced on october 12 and will close on november 10. the final list of 1.25 lakh selected trainees is anticipated to be announced on december 2.
