Funds not constraint for development works in Osmania University: Telangana CM

hyderabad: telangana chief minister a. revanth reddy on friday assured that funds would not be a constraint for undertaking development works at the century-old osmania university (ou) here.reddy held a meeting with university and government officials and said he would visit the campus on december 10 to inspect hostels and academic blocks. according to an official release, the chief minister instructed officials to conserve historic and heritage buildings while constructing new structures in place of those without historical significance.he emphasised the preservation of existing waterbodies and urged exploration of new water resources on campus. reddy also suggested utilising urban forestry funds for development activities in the university's forested areas.the chief minister directed that new hostels and academic buildings be designed to accommodate a larger number of students. he further encouraged authorities to gather suggestions from students and faculty by setting up feedback drop boxes across the campus.the meeting reflects the state government's focus on modernising infrastructure at osmania university while preserving its heritage, ensuring that development aligns with both academic and environmental priorities.
