IIM Trichy secures five-year re-accreditation from association of MBAs
tiruchirappalli: the indian institute of management tiruchirappalli (iimt) has received re-accreditation from the association of mbas (amba), a global authority on postgraduate business education, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and leadership development.the institute was first accredited by amba in september 2022 for its flagship post graduate programme in management (pgpm) and post graduate programme in business management (pgpbm), followed by accreditation for the pgpm-hr programme in 2023. in september 2025, iim tiruchirappalli achieved re-accreditation for all three programmes for the maximum term of five years, reflecting its strong performance across all evaluation parameters.with this accreditation, all current mba students and recent alumni of iim tiruchirappalli will join amba's global community of over 60,000 members from more than 150 countries.the amba panel commended iim tiruchirappalli's leadership for its transparency, collaborative culture, and commitment to continuous improvement. the panel also lauded initiatives such as the international week, mad (make a difference) project, and the elixir programme for embodying the institute's mission of nurturing socially responsible leaders.director dr. pawan kumar singh said the recognition reaffirms iim tiruchirappalli's focus on academic rigour, innovation, ethics, and sustainability. andrew main wilson, chief executive of amba and bga, praised the institute's collaborative culture and welcomed it to the amba network.amba accreditation is regarded as one of the highest global standards in management education, granted only to institutions demonstrating excellence in teaching, curriculum, and student engagement.
