Job-oriented and quality education core strength of any country: MP CM Yadav

bhopal: madhya pradesh chief minister mohan yadav on thursday said employment-oriented and quality education is the core strength of any country. he was addressing students and teachers on the occasion of guru purnima, and after inaugurating the government-run kamla nehru sandipani school's fully-equipped new building in state capital bhopal. in the olden times, many countries in the world benefited from indian knowledge as the spirit of 'vasudhaiva kutumbakam' (the world is one) was embedded into it, he said."currently, india is going through its golden period under the guidance of prime minister narendra modi. the madhya pradesh government is committed to providing high quality education and all facilities to the children for their bright future," he said."imparting quality and employment-oriented education is the core strength of any country and it is because of this alone that india has become the world's largest republic and is moving on the path of progress," the cm added. wishing all the teachers and students of the state on the occasion of guru purnima, he said that 369 sandipani schools are being run in the state where education is not limited to books. such institutions have emerged as centres of all-round development of students, he said. yadav said the government would provide rs 5 lakh each to the schools in mhow, dewas, narsinghpur for development of better educational management, and for achieving 100 per cent results.the chief minister said the vice chancellors of universities have been given the title of "kulguru", because it is the guru who guides us towards light from darkness. yadav distributed free bicycles to 50 students as a token while inaugurating the two-day campaign of free bicycle distribution to school children under the samagra shiksha abhiyan. the students expressed their happiness and greeted yadav by ringing the bicycle bells in unison.on the first day of the campaign, 4.30 lakh bicycles were distributed to the students in various districts across the state.the chief minister also honoured the teachers in state-level guru purnima programme. school education minister uday pratap singh said facilities are being made available in sandipani schools to provide better education to children."the new education policy emphasises on providing employment-oriented education for the better future of the country. from today, the work of distributing bicycles to children for commuting to and from school is starting at the state level," he said.the state government also distributed books and uniforms before the start of the session and laptops and two-wheelers are also being distributed to students, he added.
