MSDE invites online applications for CITS courses for 2025-26 from May 8

new delhi: the directorate general of training (dgt), under the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship (msde), on thursday announced admissions for the craft instructor training scheme (cits) for the academic year 2025-26.eligible candidates holding a national trade certificate (ntc), national apprenticeship certificate (nac), diploma, or degree—or those appearing in the final year of such qualifications—can apply online at www.nimionlineadmission.infrom may 8 to may 28, 2025.admissions will be conducted through an all-india common entrance test (aicet) in computer-based mode. the exam is scheduled to be held on june 15, 2025, at multiple centres across the country.the selected candidates will undergo training in 41 trades, including 28 engineering and 13 non-engineering trades. the training will be imparted at various national skill training institutes (nstis) and institutes for training of trainers (itots) across india.between 2019 and 2024, a total of 45,025 trainers have been trained under the cits scheme.the cits programme is aimed at preparing qualified instructors by equipping them with both technical competencies and effective training methodologies. the national council for vocational education and training (ncvet) mandates cits certification for all trainers in industrial training institutes (itis), ensuring uniform quality in vocational education delivery.
