SCERT invites experts for development of new school textbooks under TN Education Policy 2025

chennai: the state council of educational research and training (scert) chennai, has invited applications from qualified experts willing to participate in the development of new school textbooks in line with the tamil nadu state education policy for school education-2025.according to an official notification, applicants should possess relevant educational qualifications in the concerned subject. their academic background, teaching experience, expertise in teaching methodologies, contribution to textbook or book development, and evaluation of the submitted syllabus will be considered while selecting experts based on requirement.only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the next stage of the work, the institute said.applicants are required to prepare and submit a model syllabus on the topics notified by the institute on or before december 20, 2025. details regarding subject-wise topics and the model application format are available on the official website of the state council of educational research and training, tamil nadu.the initiative aims to strengthen curriculum development in tune with the upcoming state education policy and modern pedagogical practices, officials said.
