Because the way he became CM says it all. EPS is the only CM, who didnt know that, theres a procession and gun-shoot to kill 13 agitators. The only CM who knows things happening in his ministry from TV. Hes well understood by all sensible Tamils. He has no value at all when he crawled to become CM and when he hired Koovathur resort and supplied whiskey to retain his post. Nobody had done like this, ever before.
