Golfers continue to play despite volcano erupting nearby

As thousands flee Hawaii's Big Island ahead of the imminent 'explosive' eruption of the Kilauea volcano, some have been seen taking a less dramatic approach. Golfers were seen playing a round nearby the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. The volcano has been erupting for almost two weeks and over 2,000 residents have been evacuated from the area so far. The plume of ash is estimated to have reached nearly 12,000 feet into the air. 'I still can't understand it. They seemed to be completely nonplussed. They were completely focused on their game.' photographer Mario Tama said.
